Tour Plan
The safari begins with an early departure to the Makgadikgadi Pans, one of the largest salt flats in the world. Enjoy a scenic 3–4 hour drive east across open plains.
Arrive at your camp near Nxai Pan or Nata area, depending on season. After lunch, explore the pans on a guided game drive. Expect to see springbok, oryx, zebra, ostrich, flamingos and pelicans during the wet season
Evening:
Enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the salt flats, followed by dinner under the open African sky.
Makgadikgadi Campsite or Lodge
Meals: Lunch, Dinner
You will have an early breakfast, then join a Bushman (San) cultural walk to learn about traditional survival skills, medicinal plants and the desert ecosystem. Alternatively, enjoy a game drive around the pans’ edge in search of zebra and wildebeest migrations (seasonal).
Afternoon:
Return to camp for relaxation or a short sunset drive to photograph the pans.
🛖 Overnight: Makgadikgadi Campsite
🍽️ Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
You will be picked up after breakfast and drive back toward Maun, then continue to the Okavango Delta’s edge. The drive is approx. 5 hours and getting there you meet your local polers from the nearby community who will guide you into the Delta by Mokoro (traditional dugout canoe).
Glide silently through reed-lined channels, spotting birds, frogs and small game like Sitatunga and red Lechwe.
Enjoy a guided bush walk on one of the islands before returning to your camp.
Evening:
Dinner by the water, listening to the sounds of hippos and night birds.
🛶 Overnight: Okavango Delta Bush Camp
🍽️ Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast, transfer by mokoro and vehicle to Moremi Game Reserve, one of Botswana’s richest wildlife areas. Game drive en-route through Khwai or Xakanaxa areas, famous for elephant herds, leopards and birdlife.
Arrive at your campsite in Moremi, enjoy lunch and an afternoon game drive through lush floodplains and mopane forests.
Evening:
Return to camp, share stories around the campfire under the stars.

🍽️ Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Early game drive to catch predators in action — lion, leopard, wild dog and large herds of buffalo and elephant.
Breakfast in the bush followed by more exploration of the reserve’s lagoons and open plains.
Continue your game drive or relax at camp watching wildlife near waterholes. Optional sunset drive along the Khwai River.
Evening:
Dinner and overnight at your camp with the sounds of the wild around you.

We will wrap up our safari with an early morning game drive as you make your way back toward Maun.
Spot any last sightings of elephants, giraffes or antelope.
